Looks like there may be an internet war shaping up. If you have noticed the men pulling optical fiber on the island. They are are going to be supplying TV channels and Internet at speeds and prices comparable to Nevega. Hopefully even better quality. Competition is good for the island!

This site was written so you can easily find out what is happening on Roatan. It features information about live music, local Happy Hours, special events or generally what is on the horizon. If you want to know these things without too much hassle or browsing, Life on Roatan will be the website for you. Life on Roatan was born of my own frustration with the accessibility of information that may affect daily plans here on the island. So the purpose is to keep things current and to make it more interesting for everyone. I've included a lot of information about Life on Roatan and I hope to add more as it becomes relevant. There will be no advertising and is all my own effort. If you would like to see a certain type of information here that I haven't posted, please just ask. I will do my best to keep up with your requests!

.If you own a bar or restaurant then to set your venue up I need you to email me some photos of your place. 1 of the outside entrance . 1 of the inside and preferably one of the entrance if its down a road or the street if its on a street.
These photos will allow people to see both what your place is like but also to find it!
Also a description of what your place. For the Venue try and keep it general so people can get an idea of what you have to offer. Please avoid superlatives like the "best on the island" Try to keep it to about 4 or 5 lines of text.
I reserve the right to edit any entries both for content and size to make the sight more useful and fair..

If you are in a band and want to announce a gig. First there has to be a venue so if it is in a place I do not have set up on the website contact me so we can set it up. If a venue exists and you are a register user email me and I wll give you access to set up your own gigs. So as soon as you know you have one you can enter it for anyone to see. You are responsible for keeping the information up to date and current. If you want I can allow you to include pictures of the band, links to music and or videos. Just let me know what you need..
